What are Pela cases made of?
Pela cases are made of Flaxstic®, which is a combination of flax straw ‘waste’, plant-based biopolymers, and recycled materials. Our unique blend meets all child safety standards in the US and Canada and is free of BPA, lead, cadmium, and phthalates.
How do I compost my Pela case?
You can compost your Pela case in your backyard home compost or through a municipal green bin program. It is designed to break down in a composting environment within 6 months to 2 years, leaving behind no toxic residue.
Will a Pela case actually protect my phone from drops?
Yes! Our cases are designed to be both eco-friendly and durable. They have been drop-tested from up to 20 feet and feature a natural shock-absorption quality that protects your screen and internal electronics from daily impacts.
How long does shipping take?
Standard shipping typically takes 3-7 business days within North America and 7-15 business days for international orders. We use plastic-free, minimalist packaging to ensure your order has the lowest possible carbon footprint.
What is your return and exchange policy?
We offer a 100% Happiness Guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your case or if you ordered the wrong size, you can return or exchange your product within 30 days of purchase. Contact our support team to initiate a return.
Can I use wireless charging with a Pela case?
Absolutely. Pela cases are thin and flexible enough to be fully compatible with most standard Qi-certified wireless chargers, allowing you to power up without removing the case.
